The truck raced on past the intersection circle. The occupants of the blue car were leaning out of the open doors towards the traffic cop heedless of the looming danger. Jinnu watched with horrified fascination at the unfolding scene. He had always had a curiously high intellect considering the inane ordinariness of his parents while being completely devoid of empathy or sympathy.
His eager eyes followed the speeding truck towards the blue car. The truck finally crashed into the car sending both of them sprawling into the nearby ditch.
Jinnu’s mom came running in.
“Oh, you naughty boy. Have you already broken that beautiful road set Daddy got you yesterday?”

Hahahah! Didn’t see that coming! Loved the twist, Lavanya!
Thank you for writing for #FridayFotoFiction

Haha.. that is so cute . Will confess that was thinking it’s about an accident in the beginning. But the end was super cute. Lovely. 🙂
😂 thanks Rashi
N being a mom can relate to it too. Though my daughter hasn’t reached this stage, it’s not far. Lol.. story of mother n her child. 😉
Now this is one of the best ones I read on this prompt – damn good Lavs!!
Thanks Shalz 🙂
Hi Lavanya! Any mother would be able to relate to this post. My daughter loves to build and crash things……kids love being constructive and then deviously destructive 🙂 Keep penning 🙂
😂 Thanks Tina for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.
Oh gosh…god it was only the child’s play! Such a gripping narration…superb Lavanya!
Thanks Anagha
Strange, I read this story after I linked up this week’s post with the Plane Crash. I don’t know why boys love playing crash with their cars. My little grandsons do it all the time driving their little cars all over my house and furniture! Loved this story…..
